About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to support a designated sales territory in close partnership with an Outside Sales Representative. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, managing inbound requests, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, accurate, and eager to grow into a long-term sales career. Over time, this role is designed to become the main customer contact for service-related needs, allowing the Outside Sales Representative to focus on prospecting, cold calling, and face-to-face meetings.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related role (open to new graduates and candidates with prior ISR experience)
  • Strong ability to work with information quickly and accurately
  • Proven ability to anticipate customer questions and think one step ahead
  • Comfortable learning new systems, products, and customer environments
  • Highly reliable, with a strong work ethic and desire to grow within the organization
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to engage in and contribute to office culture
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks across phone, email, and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environments
  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers via phone and email regarding quotations, order processing, expediting, logistics, warranties, credits, and general account inquiries
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activities within the CRM
  • Partner closely with the Outside Sales Representative to support customers within the assigned territory
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs by providing relevant information beyond the immediate request (e.g., inventory availability across locations)
  • Manage multiple requests simultaneously while prioritizing urgent customer needs
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all order-related documentation and communications
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to support customer satisfaction and long-term account growth
