Inside Sales Representative
About The Position
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Essential functions may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. Answers incoming calls to the inside sales team. Answers technical questions about products, functionality, and specifications. Takes orders from customers, entering order information accurately; provides information on the ordering and shipping processes. Clearly and accurately documents issues. Resolves customer inquiries relating to shipping; communicates resolution to customers. Revises inside sales manuals and procedures. Knows and enforces compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Contributes to the department continuous improvement culture. May coach less experienced inside sales representatives. Maintains confidentiality of all matters. Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Four-year college or university degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Two or more years of relevant experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to use a customer relationship management system.
- Drug and alcohol test
