About The Position

Dayton T. Brown, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Representative to join our growing team at our corporate headquarters in Bohemia, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Sales and Business Development within a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our Business Development Managers (BDMs) and learning the full sales life cycle-from prospecting and quoting to customer engagement and closing. This position offers strong potential for professional growth into a Business Development Manager role.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ yr. associate's degree
  • 2+ yrs. experience in an inside sale and/or in a sales support role
  • Must be eager and willing to develop and learn the skills of the sales department, through attending formal training and being mentored by the experienced business development Team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a technical environment, a plus
  • Technical background is a PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Assist the BDM team with day-to-day sales operations
  • Respond to and field incoming customer inquiries and calls
  • Follow up on quotes and track customer feedback
  • Schedule and coordinate customer visits and on-site tours
  • Support trade show and conference preparations
  • Maintain and update ERP and CRM systems to ensure all activities and communications are properly documented
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments (Marketing, Engineering, Contracts, etc.)
