With our growing showroom and warehouse operation in the Imperial Valley area of Houston, we are expanding our sales team and seeking motivated Inside Sales Representatives to help drive revenue and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for assisting walk-in customers, supporting contractor and builder accounts, generating quotes, and closing sales. This role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to guide customers through the selection and ordering process. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced showroom environment and is comfortable working with both retail and trade clients.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of inside sales or showroom sales experience
  • Experience in stone, tile, flooring, cabinetry, or building materials preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with pricing, measurements, and detailed quotes
  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in CRM and basic computer systems

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus for the Houston market

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom
  • Build relationships with builders, contractors, fabricators, and designers
  • Understand customer project needs and recommend appropriate quartz or natural stone products
  • Prepare accurate quotes, bids, and sales orders
  • Follow up on open quotes to convert opportunities into closed sales
  • Upsell complementary products and premium materials
  • Maintain regular communication with trade accounts
  • Support outside sales or store management with account growth initiatives
  • Identify new business opportunities within the Houston market
  • Track leads and opportunities using CRM systems
  • Maintain organized and visually appealing product displays
  • Ensure sample inventory is stocked and current
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding inventory availability
  • Assist with order processing and delivery coordination
