About The Position

As a key member of our rapidly growing organization, this position ultimately acts as the face of our company by delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships. He or she will be responsible for selling products to various customers. The goal is to increase customer sales, satisfaction, loyalty, retention, and ultimately meet the highly demanding expectations. Our Inside Sales Representative’s commitment and willingness to deliver excellent service and create value for our customers will be accomplished by performing the following duties:

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Data entry velocity and accuracy a must.
  • High energy and enthusiastic personality.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Self-starter. Must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job.
  • Driven, team player that is motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Basic computer literacy skills are required, including but not limited to knowledge of Microsoft Suite products.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years of related experience in produce sales preferred.
  • Two years of previous inside sales or customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Seek opportunities to expand sales by recommending potential new products or logical replacements that offer value.
  • Welcome and on-board new customers, assist with applications, introduce them to our comprehensive website and impress them with gratitude and efficiency.
  • Your superpower will be to handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limit; follow-up to ensure complete resolution.
  • It is essential to pay close attention to detail while entering orders and multi-tasking.
  • Provide clients with daily processes, market fluctuations, and new seasonal items.
  • Collaborate with other departments effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop sales and account management strategies per customer and product groupings.
  • Reach or exceed all sales goals as directed by Management.
  • Offer verbal assistance with how to properly merchandise/display new products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all accounts and maintain present business and help with customer service troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Implement sales and account management strategies and tactics.
  • Network within the industry and build a rapport with potential clients.
  • Build product and market competence; acquire technical knowledge of products and their application.
  • Assist in decorating and merchandising the department; occasionally/as assigned.
