About The Position

Executes all point-of-sale and customer service functions while supporting store operations and driving sales through in-store and phone interactions. To successfully perform the essential job functions, the Inside Sales Representative must operate the BisTrack computer system to calculate pricing, taxes, and totals accurately. Accept payments, issue receipts, and make correct change. Obtain and prepare merchandise selected or requested by customers. Wrap or bag merchandise according to company standards. Stock shelves, counters, and displays with merchandise. Tag, stamp, or label merchandise with correct pricing. Set up and maintain promotional displays and signage. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, shelves, and counters. Participate in required training programs, both on-site and off-site.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Acceptable driving record in accordance with company and insurance standards.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to write basic communications.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in person and over the phone.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and proper use.
