Holman's Powertrain division has a great opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in our Pennsauken, NJ location! We are seeking a highly motivated entry level Inside Sales Representative who will proactively communicate with customers to meet/exceed sales goals and overall customer satisfaction. The responsibilities listed below center around our strategy to profitably grow our parts distribution business. Requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work in a faced paced office environment is a must.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint etc.)
  • Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
  • Must be able to perform within the established company standards, which include but are not limited to standard operating procedures, attendance, quality, team environment and performance.
  • Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in parts sales, automotive service, and/or account management is a plus
  • ASE parts certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Identify correct part numbers based on specific applications; identify obsolescence and supersession of part numbers.
  • Communicate build levels and alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Estimate and communicate expectation of delivery times.
  • Gather special instructions or required equipment in order to facilitate delivery of product and communicate to warehouse and logistics.
  • Apply all available OE incentives to invoicing.
  • Vet and process all requests for merchandise return.
  • Process replacement orders for damaged and defective parts.
  • Identify and report cataloging or inventory errors to IT for correction.
  • Prepare and deliver quotes for fleet customers, selling the value of OE with detail regarding warranty, build level, and any additional components required for successful installation.
  • Track and update status of open orders.
  • Build and maintain relationships by exhibiting responsiveness to customers’ needs as well as acting as a trusted subject matter expert on the solutions they seek.
  • Monitor and respond to both incoming calls as well as email inquiries from the Sales Inbox.
  • Manage orders for Chrysler/Dodge product in our consignment inventory for distribution to Chrysler dealers.
  • Evaluate requests for refund of handling fees for warranty replacements as well as qualified will call dealers.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals as outlined in the annual budget for Holman Parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
