Heavy customer engagement with designed expectation(s) for cold calling and bringing in and continuing to manage new business. This is an excellent career path opportunity!! Your Responsibilities Our Inside Sales Representatives work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the sales organization to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet and/or exceed monthly sales quotas. This role plays a huge part in the success of our company, and it gives individuals an opportunity to grow as a sales professional while providing our customers an exemplary level of service. Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner. Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions. Proactively recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers’ profitability profiles. Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns over the phone. Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items. Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery. Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and offering promotional sale items. Educate customers on features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction. Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite when necessary. Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Fill customer requests for catalogs, information, or samples. Remain current on consumer preferences, changes in local codes, and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor trainings, and trade shows. Setup and maintain customer files within company CRM. Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction to ensure higher levels of service in future transaction. Communicate to the purchasing department unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products. Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts. Prepare and submits weekly call reports and monthly sales. Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
