About The Position

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) drives revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and brand excellence from our Pacheco headquarters. This role manages walk-in traffic, inbound digital leads, and Salesforce pipeline activity, ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally, promptly, and with Total’s Service First standard. Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2+ years of experience in a combination of inside sales, telemarketing, and/or customer service.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM for lead tracking, quoting, and follow-up.
  • Must be comfortable with cold calling and working to meet established sales objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Excellent judgment, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Ability to operate and drive demo vehicles.
  • Ability to load vehicles onto a pick-up truck and deliver to a customer or branch.
  • Demonstrated ability to act in a way that is consistent with our values.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Qualified DMV record, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all inbound calls, emails, and walk-in traffic at the Pacheco branch.
  • Manage and qualify leads from JCB.com, TotalJCB.com, digital advertising, and showroom visits.
  • Record, track, and manage all opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring accurate deal stages and contact information.
  • Follow up with prospects promptly to ensure high conversion and consistent customer communication.
  • Coordinate product demos, deliveries, and field rep hand-offs for qualified opportunities.
  • Conduct needs assessments and match customers to appropriate JCB equipment and financing options.
  • Generate and send quotes, proposals, and financing packages using Quote Express (PNC).
  • Support sales of new and used equipment, attachments, warranties and service plans.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.
  • Perform hands on sales demonstrations of equipment for customer presentations.
  • Maintain the showroom environment, ensuring current brochures, pricing sheets, and inventory displays.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to support promotions, digital campaigns, and customer events.
  • Capture customer testimonials, delivery photos, and equipment videos for marketing use.
