Today, Koch Air, has eleven branch locations, 35 delivery vehicles, and more than 300,000 square feet of equipment and parts warehousing throughout the Midwest. Are you looking for a role supporting customers utilizing both technical and sales knowledge? Koch Air offers a base salary with commission and provides opportunities for advancement. Koch Air has a great opportunity for a Commercial Inside Sales Engineer in our St. Louis branch. This position supports the Outside Sales staff and external customers with pricing, product/application support, information, and proposal generation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in a Science-related discipline (Chemistry, Physics, Biology)
  • Associate Degree in a Technical discipline (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing/Piping, etc.)
  • Associate Degree in a Business discipline with 2 years of field experience

Responsibilities

  • Select equipment to meet customer needs and generate pricing proposals.
  • Research and evaluate current application products; interpret contractor or project needs; assist with competitive pricing.
  • Recommend products and accessories that meet or exceed project requirements.
  • Support the Outside Sales team and external customers with product/application information and proposal development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Provide timely and accurate communication throughout the quoting and proposal process.
