About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue growth within the heavy equipment rental and services industry by supporting the outside sales team. This position focuses on understanding client needs and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the sales process. The representative will work closely with sales representatives, customers, and other departments to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Ultimately, this role contributes to the company’s market presence and profitability by effectively managing the customer experience and adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple software applications and databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the rental and leasing services industry trends and customer needs.
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably within the rental and leasing services industry.
  • A bachelor’s degree or relevant higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the outside sales team in managing customer inquiries, generating leads, and qualifying prospects.
  • Utilize InTempo and communicate with shop supervisors and dispatchers to source equipment.
  • Manage the contract process from quotation to final rental agreement, ensuring all details are correct and communicated to the operations team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and salesman, assisting with rental requests, equipment availability, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Engage with prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and CRM platforms to identify rental needs and resolve issues or concerns.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and customer demands while maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term business partnerships.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for urgent customer inquiries and equipment rental needs.
