About The Position

Apex Waste Solutions is seeking a motivated and determined Inside Sales Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for inbound Vail, Colorado customers and potential prospects. This role is responsible for fostering strong customer relationships, managing service expectations, and capturing sales growth across multiple lines of business to increase revenue. The Inside Sales Representative will use a combination of strategies, including cold calling, virtual meetings, and market research, to identify and pursue new business opportunities. The position is full-time and on-site, providing stability and performance-based compensation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently present solutions.
  • Consultative sales approach, with the ability to tailor services to client needs.
  • Knowledge of waste, recycling, or related service industries preferred.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and relationship-building.
  • Must be able to work on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Client Partnership: Manage a portfolio of accounts, building trust and ensuring client satisfaction through consistent communication and support.
  • Sales & Growth Development: Proactively identify opportunities to expand services, increase revenue in all lines of business, and provide tailored solutions that promote value added competencies in all customer interactions. Collaborate with internal teams to grow business within the assigned territory.
  • Agreement Management: Negotiate, update, and renew service agreements while educating clients on terms and services.
  • Customer Support & Escalations: Coordinate with internal departments to resolve client issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Market & Industry Awareness: Maintain knowledge of company offerings, competitor activity, and industry trends to strategically position solutions.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and account management records.
