About The Position

Our client, a renowned organization in the construction and building materials industry, is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Representative. They offer a range of products and services, including Decking, Engineered Wood, Fasteners/Connectors, Fencing, Railing, Siding, and Timbers. The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in receiving and processing orders, providing product information and pricing, and assisting customers with their needs. Requirements

Minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited academic institution or commensurate industry experience.
Ability to model the company values.
Ability to multi-task and have multiple projects going simultaneously, while maintaining high-quality results.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage the commitment of customers and team members.
A strong sense of urgency for goal achievement.

Responsibilities

Receiving and writing orders from customers over the phone, providing pricing, product, and delivery information.
Servicing customers at the walk-in counter who may need information or product.
Fielding phone and in-person inquiries providing pricing/quotes from established price books/lists and product information.
Coordinating orders with yard personnel.
Assisting customers with problems.
Communicating order information and status to appropriate Account Managers for their customers.
Participating in physical inventories.
Maintaining ongoing product knowledge.
Performing other work-related duties as assigned by your supervisor and being flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment.
