We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Orlando! As an Inside Sales Representative, you will interact with existing customers to increase sales of the Company's products and/or services. Your primary responsibility will be to obtain, create, and up-sell orders, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will focus on proactive selling techniques to add business or expand the current book of accounts. Collaboration with outside sales will be essential to ensure that sales goals are being met effectively. In this role, you will obtain orders through email and telephone calls, verify and enter items, and transfer orders to fulfillment. You will also explain stock-outs and expected delivery dates to customers. To increase orders, you will suggest related items, explain features, and check the customer's buying history. You will own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts. Identifying ways for continuous improvement of processes will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will prepare, generate, and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders or determine the reasons for loss of orders. Reviewing open customer order reports and taking action on open items, including those that may be at risk in meeting the customer's promised delivery date, will be crucial. You will maintain the distribution system backorder report, associated customer expediting report and notices, and customer notifications. Reporting industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management will also be part of your duties.
