About The Position

Maintain and grow parts and service sales within assigned territory. This position involves assisting customers with sales needs, which includes establishing, qualifying, and maintaining contact with small to medium-sized customers to increase sales of machines, work tools, rentals, parts, and service solutions. Responsibilities also include mailing and emailing electronic and other promotional campaigns to assigned accounts, investigating and troubleshooting customer service issues, making outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and email to cross-sell and up-sell, handling inbound calls and converting them into sales, measuring U/C and reporting to customers with quotes, conducting TA1 inspections and reporting to customers with quotes, and managing 300 to 500 active customer accounts.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited college preferred or 1-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mechanic knowledge preferred to understand customer equipment needs.
  • Strong customer service skills to maintain long-term strategic relationships.
  • Ability to effectively network throughout the organization to obtain resources required to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Strong computer skills needed for DBS, ServiceLink and SalesLink/CRM software, PSQ, and CAT Inspect.
  • Familiarity with programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management.
  • Self-starter with good time and territory management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for phone, in-person, and email communications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a well-organized team player.
  • Willingness to learn with a prompt and strong attendance record.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities
