About The Position

Inside Territory Management at Cardinal Health is a pivotal role that focuses on prospecting and nurturing new accounts while simultaneously strengthening existing relationships to drive revenue growth and enhance market penetration. The representative will cover the states of Oregon, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming, engaging with healthcare professionals and key manufacturer partners within Cardinal Health's Diabetes division. This position is integral to influencing and supporting both new and existing healthcare professionals, ensuring they are well-informed about the benefits of Edgepark's capabilities, particularly in the Diabetes portfolio, which includes Continuous Glucose Monitors and Insulin Delivery systems. The role requires the representative to generate new business within a defined territory, managing approximately 70 to 100 accounts. Daily responsibilities include conducting over 20 formal calls to various healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists, primary care physicians, and internal medicine clinics. The representative will also be tasked with educating healthcare professionals on medical policy and order processing, thereby facilitating the prescription of diabetes products through Edgepark. Collaboration with Managed Care, Marketing, and Customer Operations teams is essential to facilitate territory sales growth and leverage Edgepark's extensive payor network to enhance access awareness and execute strategic commercialization efforts. In addition to sales activities, the representative must possess a deep understanding of Edgepark's diabetes supply category and ordering process, demonstrating knowledge of industry trends, key competitors, and government regulations. The goal is to increase Edgepark's market share while meeting or exceeding territory sales targets and KPIs. Utilizing Edgepark's sales tools and resources, the representative will make data-driven decisions to effectively manage their territory and implement commercial strategies, monitoring progress towards sales goals. Building and maintaining high-level, long-term consultative relationships is crucial, along with completing all administrative requirements in a timely manner as directed by management.
