Basic Job Functions:Inside Sales Representatives will provide post sale services to our external and internal customers daily. This includes, but is not limited to, proactively managing orders with assigned customers to provide world class results. Work with our scheduling, production, quality, finance, and shipping teams to ensure orders are completed efficiently and on time. Effectively manage inventory levels to align with our division goals. Provide solutions to situations that may arise during the order, scheduling, production or shipping process. Travel will be required to visit customers and other Nucor locations to help build and maintain relationships. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Two-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong computer skills that include experience using all facets of Microsoft Office
  • 1-year Customer Service experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Previous sales or project/account management experience
  • Experience within the cold finish and/or steelmaking industry
