About The Position

As an Inside Sales Rep at United Rentals' Fluid Solutions branch, you will be a primary customer contact and consultant. Your role involves recommending solutions, quoting, selling, and fulfilling orders for fluid solutions equipment rental and services based on customer needs. This position is ideal for an ambitious professional with an interest in the industry, who can build strong relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. You will be expected to multi-task, continuously learn, and contribute to driving sales and overall branch growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Strong sales and customer service skills
Proficiency with MS Office (especially Word and Excel)
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
Keen attention to detail and diligent attention to safety
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications are preferred

Responsibilities

Establish an understanding of the rental business as it pertains to specialty engineered rental products and services, including electric and hydraulic pumps
Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts
Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers
Educate customers about proper equipment use
Coordinate with all inside and outside branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction
Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns
Run all reports necessary to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations
Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets
Other duties assigned as needed
