About The Position

We are seeking a customer-focused Inside Sales Representative – Medical to support and grow key accounts within our medical polymers business. In this role, you will serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned customers, delivering a best-in-class customer experience while supporting revenue growth, margin optimization, and long-term relationships. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in delivering responsive, value-added support to customers and internal partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or commercial support experience (manufacturing, materials, or chemicals preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong phone presence
  • Ability to engage both technical and purchasing stakeholders
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tools
  • Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Adaptable, proactive, and customer-centric mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Professional judgment and collaborative work style

Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management Serve as the primary contact for assigned medical accounts, building strong, trust-based relationships Partner closely with Key Account Managers to support customer strategies and objectives
  • Customer Experience Excellence Provide timely, professional communication and proactive support Anticipate customer needs and ensure seamless service across the order-to-delivery lifecycle
  • Sales & Account Support Prepare and manage quotations, track opportunities, and support sales initiatives Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the customer base
  • Issue Resolution & Advocacy Respond quickly to customer concerns or complaints and drive resolution Act as the customer’s advocate internally to ensure satisfaction
  • Market & Account Insights Share competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and market trends with account teams Contribute to account planning and growth strategies
  • CRM & Performance Tracking Maintain accurate CRM records including contacts, opportunities, and activities Monitor KPIs and support initiatives to improve performance and customer satisfaction
  • Logistics & Sample Coordination Coordinate shipment of samples, product data sheets, and materials Partner with Customer Service and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Account Management, Technical Service, Customer Service, and Operations Support seamless execution across commercial and technical teams
