About The Position

This role is crucial for leading the daily efforts of the Inside Business Development team, ensuring they meet high-performance standards and execute effective sales strategies. The Inside Sales Manager will collaborate closely with upper management to translate overarching goals into actionable plans. Your leadership will shape the team’s growth and success, making an impactful contribution through consistent performance management and operational discipline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or account management.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Ability to drive consistent sales execution and performance management.
  • Strong coaching skills with experience improving team performance.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coaches and manages day-to-day operations of the inside sales team.
  • Conducts regular 1:1 meetings and performance check-ins.
  • Monitors individual and team performance, providing timely feedback.
  • Handles people operations including scheduling and attendance.
  • Partners with Senior IBDMs for employee training and onboarding.
  • Supports reinforcement of sales tools and expectations.
  • Acts as interim sales representative for open territories.
  • Ensures execution of Inside Sales workflows and best practices.
  • Reinforces usage of CRM, documentation standards, and reporting accuracy.
  • Supports call coaching and consultative selling behaviors.
  • Maintains performance reports tracking activity and results.
  • Analyzes performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provides regular updates to the Director regarding performance.
  • Serves as the first point of escalation for productivity issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
