About The Position

The Inside Sales position at Balchem Corporation focuses on managing sales activities and customer relations for smaller accounts within the Minerals & Nutrients management team. This entry-level role aims to facilitate the transition of these accounts from inside sales to outside sales or marketing, with the goal of increasing product purchases and enhancing customer relationships.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage sales activities and customer relations for smaller accounts.
• Communicate product value propositions to key decision makers within accounts.
• Achieve annual sales budget and growth objectives for the territory.
• Recommend and implement methods to enhance operations and sales.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve related problems.
• Serve as a liaison with customers for administrative and operational issues.
• Provide backup to customer service order entry when needed.
• Enter and categorize accounts in Salesforce and issue call reports as directed.
• Apply Progression Model process at high growth potential accounts.
• Support and assist with customer complaints as needed.
• Identify high potential smaller customers for growth as strategic accounts.
• Work with Account Managers to advance growth of smaller accounts.
• Occasionally visit growth accounts with Account Managers.
