Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of consultative consumer sales experience (premium products, wellness/fitness, connected devices, or DTC a plus).
  • Proven success building or refining a sales process from scratch (founding hire or early-stage startup experience a strong plus).
  • Skilled communicator with strong discovery, storytelling, and objection-handling abilities.
  • Self-starter comfortable building systems and processes from scratch.
  • Comfortable in a high-intensity, zero-to-one environment where speed and execution matter.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the entire inside sales motion, including CRM setup, sequences, talk tracks, objection handling, and reporting dashboards.
  • Guide prospective customers through phone/Zoom sessions, diagnosing sleep needs and tailoring the right Pod configuration, accessories, and subscription plan.
  • Manage inbound leads with speed and rigor; nurture, qualify, and close; coordinate clean handoffs to Delivery and CX.
  • Master Eight Sleep’s product and sleep science, translating features into outcomes that resonate with premium buyers.
  • Define and track performance metrics (speed-to-lead, conversion, attach rates, cycle time, NPS).
  • Drive attach on subscriptions, accessories, extended protection, and financing utilization.
  • Continuously refine the sales process based on data and feedback.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000 base, plus uncapped commission and equity, depending on experience and qualifications.
