About The Position

In this role you will engage with customers through calls and/or meetings to understand their needs to make recommendations to sales leadership. You will read and interpret specifications and other technical documents to make recommendations for products to customers. Further, you will provide end to end customer experience including rapid response and technical support to the customer base assigned to you. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with supporting departments including procurement, engineering, operations and finance to support customer needs. You will share voice of the customer (VOC) feedback on pricing, market trends and other feedback to sales leadership to support strategy and grow sales. You will generate proposals, including cost analysis and pricing proposals for customer base. You showcase the ability to self-manage, prioritize work for customers, forecast and communicate account details efficiently.

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Technical background in materials or engineering is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting and/or materials preferred specifically in metal powders.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in Excel and Word with moderate to advanced proficiency.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing customers and/or client accounts.
  • Track record of successfully growing partnerships with customers and/or client accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work cross-functionally.
