We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Intern. This role supports the sales process by assisting with the preparation of estimates for power generation systems and related products. In this position, you’ll gain hands-on experience while contributing to the team’s ability to deliver timely, accurate information and a strong customer experience. This is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of inside sales, estimating, and customer support in a collaborative environment. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven setting.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in Sales.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in sales preferred.
  • Knowledge of power generation systems, electrical systems, or construction is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for generator systems, parts, and related services based on customer requirements.
  • Partner with the Sales team to review project scope and help ensure estimates align with customer needs.
  • Research and source pricing for materials and equipment from vendors and suppliers.
  • Help respond to customer inquiries by providing product information and support under team guidance.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of estimates and quotes.
  • Research industry trends and product developments.
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the sales team.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
