Examples of Summer Experience: Direct Customer Interaction Sales Analytics Sales Presentations to Management as well as customers Summer Interns who demonstrate solid performance and exhibit promising potential at BD will be considered as candidates for BD’s Inside Sales and Associate Territory Manager roles, upon successful completion of their bachelor’s degree. Sales Summer Internship Value Proposition The Sales Summer Intern experience is enriched with: Business Impact – Sales Summer Interns work on meaningful assignments that add business value across BD. Diversity – Sales Summer Interns have the opportunity to collaborate with different teams across a wide range of locations. Coaching and Development – Peer Mentors and Managers provide the Sales Summer Intern with career guidance and advice throughout the Internship. Leadership Visibility – The Sales Summer Internship program is directly sponsored by the VP, Inside Sales. Sales Summer Interns also present their accomplishments at the end of the summer to the Sales Organization and their Peers. The goal of the Sales Summer Internship is to enhance BD’s organizational vitality by developing a pipeline of candidates for the sales organization.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or similar major
  • Completed a minimum of junior year by the start of the internship
  • Current, Valid Driver’s license is
  • Strong time management skills, ability to analyze and solve complex problems, communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Strong aptitude and desire for a career in sales
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction as to duration
  • Internships will be based in various locations throughout the US.
  • In order to qualify for this position, applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US.
  • We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visa at this time
  • For most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance.
  • For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
