You will enjoy providing expert advice, crafting customized solutions, and working closely with a team to achieve sales goals. This role is not suitable if you prefer a non-interactive role or lack interest in technical sales and customer interaction.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of inside sales experience, preferably in the hydronics or a related technical field.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate sales databases.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Independent worker with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Highly motivated with a competitive edge and excellent communication skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service to both walk-in and phone customers, ensuring efficient and accurate order processing.
  • Review and enter quotations accurately, interact with vendors for competitive pricing, and follow up on quotes to secure orders and improve processes.
  • Utilize in-depth product knowledge to match customer specifications and provide alternative solutions based on cost, availability, or specifications.
  • Monitor order shipments to guarantee timely delivery, and manage transactions accurately following standard procedures.
  • Understand and apply the company’s pricing and profit model to make sound business decisions that maximize profitability.
