About The Position

As an Agent Recruiter, your role is to actively seek and attract qualified freight agents to work with us as independent contractors. You will primarily be responsible for outbound calling, screening, and qualifying freight agents.

Requirements

• Previous recruiting or sales experience. Familiarity with the freight shipping industry in any capacity is a plus
• Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering projected results
• Comfortable initiating and/or responding to medium to high volume of calls daily
• Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time efficiently
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills

Responsibilities

• The Agent Recruiter will build relationships and rapport with independent freight agents.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals. Conduct initial phone conversations with pre-qualified candidates who meet basic requirements
• Strengthen existing relationships with industry resources to increase yield
• Identify new opportunities
• Build and send daily/weekly reports to upper management
• Regularly check in with management to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
