Tucker Mechanical, Inc., based in Rocky Hill, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role is focused on driving strong customer relationships through effective communication and exceptional service. Reporting directly to the Service Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Executive will handle inbound and outbound sales activities, prepare and follow up on proposals, and ensure timely execution of opportunities. The ideal candidate will excel at engaging clients primarily via phone and email, providing tailored solutions for their building and mechanical systems. This position requires an individual with strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and efficiently manages multiple opportunities. By leveraging Tucker Mechanical’s proven sales process, the Inside Sales Executive will help customers identify the best solutions for their needs while fostering trust and long-term partnerships .

  • Prepare, process, and track proposals for repair work.
  • Follow up on outstanding proposals to secure approvals.
  • Orders parts needed for accepted quotes.
  • Works with the Service Coordination Team to schedule approved work.
  • Run weekly reports on outstanding and accepted quotes.
  • Collaborate with and support Outside Sales Team, as needed.
  • Develop sales within defined margin levels to attain market share while providing profitability goals
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to growth and development as a professional.
  • Customer Service: Providing the utmost care and attention to the client before, during and after the sale.
  • Meet or surpass annual sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Manage and maintain customer relationships by being the first point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Independently prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Other duties as directed by the Sales Manager and/or General Manager
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC Commercial Service Industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales or technical field experience
  • Honesty, integrity, and personal accountability must be the foundational attributes of all applicants.
  • Effective communication, customer presentation skills, and a demonstrated sales aptitude
  • Self-motivated/Disciplined
  • Strong organizational skills are a must
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
  • Trainable, coachable, and willing to learn.
  • Team Player: Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and clients.
  • Must have the ability to remain courteous and kind amid adversity.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline preferred.
