About The Position

The Executive Host at Harrah's Joliet is primarily responsible for driving VIP marketing through outbound sales telemarketing. This role involves developing strategic relationships with customers, directing account development, and ensuring a seamless transition to the on-property service team. The Executive Host is expected to personalize interactions, anticipate customer needs, and consistently convert sales activities into casino trips, all while maintaining high levels of integrity and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in casino/hotel, customer service, host, or account management (luxury service experience preferred).
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Flexibility with scheduling to include nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough with excellent communication skills.
  • Total compliance with all internal controls and policies as required.
  • Eligibility to obtain an Illinois Gaming License - Level 3 through the Illinois Gaming Board.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain coded player blocks through direct mail, email, and telemarketing.
  • Participate in telephone solicitation and coordinate personalized direct mailings for assigned cities.
  • Utilize transportation resources to actively recruit VIP players.
  • Ensure seamless handoff of guest pre-trip itineraries for on-property execution by the VIP Hospitality Team.
  • Comply with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies with integrity.
  • Respond to and meet the needs of clients consistently.
  • Support and cultivate new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.
  • Identify ways to increase efficiencies or improve products or services.
  • Communicate programs/services to necessary personnel and keep them informed of changes.
  • Prepare project plans to aid in moving projects forward.
  • Stay knowledgeable about happenings on the property and in the market.
  • Track existing products/services and progress on new initiatives.
  • Develop skills to handle increasingly complex matters.
  • Provide consistent, timely, and accurate information to clients and find answers when unsure.
  • Project warmth and enthusiasm to build rapport and encourage repeat visitation.
