We are a manufacture’s representative that works with Owners, Contractors, and Engineers to specify/ provide HVAC equipment that suites the needs of every application. Our Factory Trained Engineer’s have an in depth knowledge of all lines we represent in an effort to empower our people to make the best decisions for the project to maintain timeline. Role: Operations Engineer You will play a crucial role as part of the Sales team helping to promote the Jacco brand. This is an exciting time for us with explosive growth and representation of the best products in the industry. We are looking for results-oriented team members that take pride in the products and services they can offer to their customers and colleagues. You will assist with the execution of projects from estimates through closeout. This is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of major projects while gaining exposure to our impressive portfolio of work.

Requirements

  • The ability to problem solve. Our projects are complex and have many moving parts. The ideal candidate will know how to roll up their sleeves and search for answers.

  • Clear communication. You will be interacting with teammates, manufacturers and clients. Strong written and verbal communication is key.
  • Attend Manufacturers Training
  • Will work with CRM Software for Quoting, Sales Requests and Project Management.
  • Engineering Degree a plus
  • 1 – 2 years in HVAC industry a plus
  • Must have knowledge of CAD software

Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment quotes and plan-and-spec proposals using the full range of manufacturer products represented by Jacco.
  • Apply basic psychrometric principles to support accurate HVAC equipment selections.
  • Utilize manufacturer-provided selection software to generate pricing, submittals, and engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Outside Sales Team to deliver complete and timely bids and engineering requests.
  • Partner with Engineering Sales, under guidance, to develop and refine equipment selections that meet project requirements.
