Everlight Americas Inc. is the North American Sales arm of Everlight Electronics, a leading global Optoelectronics manufacturer specializing in low and high Power VISIBLE LEDs, SMD and Thru-Hole Lamps, Digital Displays, INFRARED Emitters, Optical Sensors, Fiber Optic, and Optocoupler components. The company provides solutions for various applications across the lighting, consumer, computing, automotive, telecommunication, and industrial market segments. As a result of our continued growth objective, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Intermediate level Inside Sales Distribution Representative to support our sales team and their customers in any aspect of the business to facilitate sales. The ideal candidate will assist in building strong relationships with distributors and be able to help identify needs and requirements to promote our company's products and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute to sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for monitoring sales (POS) numbers and creating reports for the sales team review. This role involves answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information via email and phone. The representative will need to understand the offering product and keep up with product and service information and updates. Providing official quotations to customers, creating and maintaining a (POS) database of current and potential customers, and researching and qualifying new leads are also key responsibilities. The representative will communicate with customers, make outbound calls to potential customers, and follow up on leads via phone and e-mail. Additionally, the role includes processing requests for samples, explaining and demonstrating features of products and services, and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas. The position requires excellent planning skills, communication abilities, and a strong service attitude. The representative must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and maintain excellent relationships internally and externally. This is a full-time (hourly, Non-exempt) position, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as job duties demand. The working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 1-hour daily lunch break.
