The Sales Development Representative at GE Digital will focus on the West region automation market, connecting customers with innovative technologies. This role is crucial within the Inside Sales organization, responsible for qualifying inbound leads, prospecting new accounts, and collaborating with sales and solution architect teams to build a robust sales pipeline. The representative will engage with customers and systems integration partners to schedule sales meetings, contributing to the expansion of GE Digital's software portfolio.

  • Create and deliver a point of view on how GE Digital can help prospective customers
  • Navigate complex organizations to find the right prospects and deliver compelling value propositions
  • Leverage sales tools to manage inbound leads through emails, calls, and social selling techniques
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to set meetings with new customers
  • Achieve monthly meeting goals and report them verbally and in writing
  • Continuously learn about GE Digital products and their value
  • Articulate the value GE Digital brings to the market in all communications
  • Overcome sales objections to foster compelling conversations
  • Conduct research to stay informed about existing and new markets
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in B2B software sales
  • Technical degree (engineering or business IT preferred) or a minimum of 2 years' sales experience in B2B software sales
  • Interest or expertise in cold calling
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and technological proficiency (MS Office, Salesforce, Outreach)
