About The Position
Tart Lumber Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Customer Service/Inside Sales Associate to join our team in Sterling, Virginia. As a full-service lumber and building material company, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our contractors and clients. This position is ideal for individuals who are experienced in sales and motivated to learn about new products and systems. While a background in construction and building materials is not required, it is considered a significant advantage for this role. We are particularly interested in candidates who are bilingual in Spanish, as this will enhance our ability to serve a diverse customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting contractors and clients with their purchases of building materials and hardware. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every customer has a positive experience, which may involve going above and beyond to meet their needs. You will also be tasked with placing special orders for specialty lumber, millwork, doors, and windows, and staying informed about industry trends to enhance your product knowledge. Training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with our dispatch team to ensure timely delivery of orders. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to collaborate with team members on various tasks.
