About The Position
FASTSIGNS® of Syracuse is a locally owned sign and visual solutions company that works closely with businesses to bring their ideas to life. They focus on creating high-quality, customized signage while providing a smooth, efficient experience for their customers. The team takes pride in supporting the local community and delivering results that make an impact. The company is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role is a key part of day-to-day operations, supporting outside sales efforts while also serving as the first point of contact for customers in person and over the phone.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining customer data
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office or similar programs
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or administrative support
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Support outside sales representatives with day-to-day administrative and sales support tasks
- Prepare and build customer quotes based on project details and pricing guidelines
- Write up and enter work orders accurately into internal systems
- Assist with order processing, tracking, and follow-ups to ensure timely completion
- Communicate with customers and the sales team regarding project updates, timelines, and details
- Assist existing customers with questions, reorders, and ongoing projects
- Reach out to previous customers to re-engage and help schedule appointments for the sales team
- Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems
- Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure smooth project flow
- Provide general office support as needed
