About The Position

The Inside Sales Coordinator reports to the Manager of Customer & Sales Support Located in Lenexa, Kansas Full-Time Hybrid The Inside Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the inside sales team by managing various sales-related tasks and activities. This position requires someone with experience in sales coordination or a related field, who possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. The Inside Sales Coordinator will collaborate closely with the sales team to streamline processes, enhance customer relationships, and drive sales growth.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred), or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, or a related field.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing product information, pricing, and assistance with order placement.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and addressing customer needs and concerns effectively.
  • Assist the sales team with order processing, including entering orders into the system, coordinating shipments, and managing delivery schedules.
  • Prepare sales quotes, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission to customers.
  • Manage inbound leads and inquiries, qualifying leads based on predefined criteria and distributing them to the appropriate sales representatives.
  • Follow up with leads to assess their level of interest, provide additional information, and schedule sales appointments or demonstrations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order status in the CRM system.
  • Generate reports and analyze sales data to track performance metrics, identify trends, and evaluate sales effectiveness.
  • Communicate regularly with sales representatives to provide updates on customer inquiries, orders, and opportunities.
  • Address customer issues and concerns promptly, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
