About the position

The Inside Sales Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers. This role involves establishing sales revenue by reaching out to prospective and current customers, ensuring they are informed about the services and products we offer. The Inside Sales Consultant will maintain ongoing relationships for all Interiors Group Segments, including hospitality, healthcare, education, and commercial.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Sales Opportunities: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals by engaging with prospective and current customers.
  • Maintain Salesforce Records: Keep account records up to date by logging daily activities, emails, and opportunities. Manage overdue opportunities and convert prospects into customers.
  • Handle Administrative Tasks: Work on the open order report daily through Sales Systems.
  • Address customer administrative needs, including handling complaints, credits, quotes, samples, and orders professionally and promptly.
  • Promote New Products: Increase sales by promoting new products. Attend product refreshers throughout the year to stay informed.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in Inside Sales.
  • Required Skills: Persuasive telephone manner and etiquette.
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Special Requirements: Required: Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite.

  • Preferred: CRM Database (Salesforce), JD Edwards Enterprise One Software.
