About The Position
ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country. Join our expanding sales team as an Inside Sales Representative, where you'll engage with potential customers, understanding their needs and educating them on the environmental and financial benefits of transitioning to renewable energy. $15-hr PLUS commissions(Base + Commission = Average range $20-$26/hr) 6-8 Hour Shifts 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Monday through Friday) 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Rotating Saturdays)
Requirements
- Previous sales experience is preferred
- Competitive spirit and goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to thrive in a commission-based environment
- Phone-related service experience is a plus
- Proficiency in using computer applications
- Strong multitasking abilities, including navigating CRM systems
Responsibilities
- Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads
- Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
- Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information via email
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
- Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
- Staying informed about competing products and services
- Upselling products and services
- Researching and qualifying new leads
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets
