Support clients’ progress toward their financial goals through strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives Consider clients’ life stage, professional circumstances, and changing financial needs when developing tailored financial plans to suit their needs Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor What you'll do: Proactively build and maintain strong client relationships through networking, referrals, and outreach Meet with clients to gather and analyze financial information, goals, and risk tolerance Design personalized strategies for retirement planning, education funding, wealth protection, and estate planning Present and recommend a broad range of financial solutions, including life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and other investment options Guide clients through implementation and conduct ongoing reviews to ensure strategies stay aligned with their evolving goals Partner with fellow New York Life professionals to deliver comprehensive, holistic financial solutions Good interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine client-first mindset Business-minded spirit with a strong drive for achievement, growth, and independence Strategic thinker with sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities Sales, customer service, or financial services experience is a plus — but not required Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field preferred (not mandatory) Bilingual abilities are highly valued and a strong advantage
