Join our fast-paced sales team as an Inside Sales Associate, where you'll drive growth by uncovering and converting opportunities through proactive outbound outreach and responsive inbound engagement. You’re a creative, deadline-driven self-starter who builds instant rapport, tailors outreach to each prospect’s needs, and closes the gap between customers and solutions. In this role you’ll deliver exceptional service and support to company and field reps as well as end users, while sharpening your sales craft and making a measurable impact on our business.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of successful experience in inside sales or similar field, such as customer support.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
  • High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful team and company.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Cell and Gene Therapy or Biological Science Instrumentation experience preferred.
  • Experience with CRM applications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Prospecting; utilizing CRM, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries in a timely manner and facilitate a smooth hand-off to Account Managers for sales/demo appointments.
  • Create target prospects and research to find key decision makers and get past gatekeepers to reach them.
  • Profile strategic accounts, identify key stakeholders, research business requirements and present solutions to start sales cycle.
  • Nurture leads and develop relationships with potential customers.
  • Drive attendance to webinars, trainings, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members to develop strategy to penetrate markets.
  • Independently make decisions, but also utilize available resources and work cross-functionally within the organization to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain an accurate and organized CRM.
  • Stay knowledgeable of market trends and company offerings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files necessary for proper management of territory.
  • Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems; perform other tasks assigned by manager.
