About The Position

The Inside Sales Associate position is a full-time role based in Mexia, TX, focusing on providing exceptional customer service and supporting sales operations. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with product inquiries, pricing, and recommendations, and resolving concerns. The role also involves accurate cash and credit card handling, maintaining cash drawer procedures, and ensuring the security of financial transactions. Additionally, the associate will support sales activities by promoting offers and maintaining product knowledge, collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets, and manage inventory by monitoring, restocking, and assisting with merchandising. Administrative tasks such as maintaining records, completing paperwork, and performing opening/closing duties are also part of the role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals.
Monitor and restock inventory as needed to ensure product availability.
Assist with store merchandising.
Keep the sales floor organized and well-maintained.
Report inventory discrepancies or low stock levels to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and receipts as necessary.
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
Perform opening and closing duties as required.
