About The Position

Key duties and responsibilities include: 1. Customer Service: - Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. - Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing, and product recommendations. - Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. - Provide an exceptional in-store experience to ensure customer satisfaction. 2. Cash Handling: - Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment. - Count and verify cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift. - Maintain cash handling procedures in accordance with company policies. - Ensure the security and confidentiality of financial transactions. 3. Sales Support: - Assist with inside sales activities, such as promoting special offers.. - Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions and product features. - Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals. 4. Inventory Management: - Monitor and restock inventory as needed to ensure product availability. - Assist with store merchandising. - Keep the sales floor organized and well-maintained. - Report inventory discrepancies or low stock levels to the supervisor. 5. Administrative Tasks: - Maintain accurate records of transactions and receipts as necessary. - Complete necessary paperwork and documentation. - Perform opening and closing duties as required. 6. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a team and thrive in a customer-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in a cashier or inside sales role is a plus.
