About The Position

This Inside Sales Associate manages assigned accounts and programs, focusing on revenue growth through strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical selling role
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and use of a PC
  • Ability to learn and use a CRM (Salesforce) and sales enablement tools
  • Ability to learn and use and interpret reporting metrics from company database
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality at all times.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work based on business needs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment.
  • Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales goals and drive account growth by building strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective or existing buyers and other decision makers.
  • Manage customer quote requests by coordinating with Estimating, reviewing finalized quotes, presenting them to customers, and negotiating terms as needed.
  • Collaborate across departments to support order fulfillment and program planning.
  • Partner with Sales and Production to oversee new product launches and ensure smooth implementation through established processes.
  • Manage prospects through the sales cycle and maintain opportunity pipeline.
  • Compile and analyze data to prepare reports for management.
  • Investigate and assist to resolve customer complaints.
  • Keep customer information and activity up to date in CRM database.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
