About The Position

The Sales Associate will focus on one primary objective - creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Whether assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, we want you to be the advisor on our customer's journey. It takes knowledge and training - which CosmoProf will go above and beyond to provide. You bring your passion and personality - we will do the rest!

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1 year retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty while working with customers and vendors.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure our customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete cash and other monetary transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and inventory management while communicating any inventory issues.
• Demonstrate our CosmoProf Culture Values and adhere to our company code of ethics and behavior.
• Be trusted with Company Assets and Technology and expected to maintain accurate records as it pertains to the business.
• Occasionally make bank deposits and open or close the store.
