About The Position

The Inside Sales Associate for Huffy BMX is responsible for supporting and driving sales within the specialty bicycle retail channel. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences while assisting the sales team, independent reps, and dealers. You will help make it easy for customers to do business with Huffy by providing product guidance, handling orders, and supporting technical and warranty requests as needed.

Requirements

  • Passion for BMX, cycling, and outdoor recreation.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience preferred; internships accepted.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret product manuals, instructions, and sales documents.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the cycling industry.
  • Domestic travel may be required (5–10%).

Responsibilities

  • Build and Maintain Relationships
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with BMX retailers and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and General Manager to create and execute strategic sales plans for assigned accounts or territories.
  • Communicate updates to the sales team on customer feedback, pricing, promotions, and product launches.
  • Serve as a customer service contact for dealers via phone, email, and in-person meetings to support the Huffy BMX brand.
  • Sales Pipeline Management
  • Manage the full order process including entry, warehouse coordination, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment.
  • Provide insights on market trends, promotions, and sales strategies to support account growth.
  • Maintain accurate customer and account records in the B2B system.
  • Generate sales reports and metrics for internal meetings and planning.
  • Product Knowledge
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Huffy BMX products to effectively communicate features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, customer service, rider support, and product development teams to support sales initiatives and address customer needs.
  • Act as additional support for Batch, Niner, Buzz, IBD sales support as needed.
