About The Position

The Inside Sales Agent plays a critical role in supporting our Retail Direct Ship (RDS) program. This position partners directly with field locations to process customer orders and ship devices and services directly to customers’ homes. In addition to order fulfillment, this role is responsible for driving incremental sales by working with both existing and new Verizon customers over the phone.

Requirements

  • Ability to quickly overcome objections and think on your feet
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through
  • Strong verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation communication skills
  • 3 year + experience and success in a commissionable sales position preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Previous call center or wireless industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming field-submitted order requests daily for both existing and new customers
  • Process sales accurately and efficiently in alignment with company and carrier guidelines
  • Work tailored outbound call campaigns designed to identify, present, and close incremental sales opportunities over the phone
  • Identify, promote, and close incremental revenue opportunities on every account interaction
  • Communicate clearly with field partners and customers to resolve order alerts or account issues
  • Accurately document all calls, tasks, notes, and scheduled appointments
  • Monitor and track daily productivity, sales performance, and pipeline opportunities
  • Stay current on announcements, trainings, promotions, updates, and required certifications
