Soudronic is a global leader in the metal packaging industry, and our office in Briarcliff Manor is seeking a dedicated After Sales Administrator to join our team. This full-time position is essential for ensuring that our customers' secondary business needs are met regarding the sale of spare parts, tooling, conversions, and upgrade kits for both old and new machines. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales support and inventory flow processes, which are crucial for the effective management of our after-sales services. As an After Sales Administrator, you will assist customers in identifying parts by reading assembly drawings and prints. Your role will involve purchasing, stock management, and conducting inventory counts to maintain accurate records. You will also help customers with the identification of parts, creation of quotes and sales orders, and provide delivery information. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing repairs and returns, which includes the receipt of goods, logging of returns, and creating customer repair orders. This position requires you to process returns to vendors for repair or credit, which involves preparing goods and shipping paperwork. You will support the spare parts manager with special projects, including non-standard quotes, sales orders, and information requests. Effective intercompany communication will be necessary as you work closely with the warehouse to organize optimal transportation modes for outgoing and incoming shipments. Related duties may include assisting warehouse personnel with picking, packing, and shipping as needed, especially if understaffed. You will also prepare shipment documents for special contract products and manage the filing and storage of shipping documents while tracking products as they come in and go out. Additionally, you will be part of a shared rotation for providing on-call weekend support with other department staff.
