About The Position

The Inside Sales Rep will serve as a liaison between customers/account managers and production/planning. This role, reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, requires strong communication and analytical skills to manage customer orders from inception to completion. The representative will utilize the EFI Radius ERP system for order entry and maintain weekly VMI reports for customers. Collaboration with order fulfillment and scheduling teams is essential to meet customer needs and internal commitments. The ideal candidate is collaborative, personable, and proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

  • Validate PO’s for pricing according to the current contract and to ensure all necessary information is available for order entry.
  • Enter Blanket and Make-and-Ship orders into Radius using the customers PO’s and relevant Specs to ensure quick and accurate information is in the system.
  • Create new items, as necessary, to allow for accurate order entry.
  • Create job orders at sales order entry for “Run No Change” orders to avoid delays and minimize time to get new orders on the production schedule.
  • When applicable, manage customer inventory, including aged inventory, requesting PO’s and creating job orders as necessary to ensure item availability for the customer.
  • Update inventory and open order status on weekly VMI’s for the customer, ensuring progress on orders is satisfactory, advocating for the customer, and pushing to meet our commitments.
  • Enter sales releases for customer orders and create shipping requests as inventory comes available.
  • Monitor customer KPI’s to track monthly orders and shipments against the forecast, and push for On-Time availability and shipments.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders including account managers, order fulfillment, scheduling, and ops leadership to ensure successful production of items by the have-ready date.
