About The Position

Trellix is looking for a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our SLED team. You will play a pivotal role in securing the State and Local landscape by identifying new opportunities, nurturing agency relationships, and driving the adoption of our market-leading XDR technologies. If you’re ready to accelerate your career in cybersecurity while supporting the needs of SLED, we want to hear from you. In this high-impact position, you will act as a strategic engine for the SLED sales team. You will bridge the gap between initial business development and final deal closure, ensuring our cybersecurity solutions reach the agencies and education entities that need them most.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: You bring 2+ years of professional experience in high-technology sales, product development, or business development.
  • Results-Oriented: You have a documented track record of consistently meeting or overachieving your sales quotas.
  • Strategic Execution: You possess sharp time, account, and territory management skills, allowing you to prioritize the right deals at the right time.
  • Communication Pro: You are an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver high-stakes presentations to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Analytical Mindset: You are a quick learner who can analyze market trends and agency needs to position Trellix effectively.
  • Resilient Drive: You are persistent, self-starting, and committed to delivering results above and beyond your assigned goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Domain Expertise: A background in the Security Software industry is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Ownership: Independently manage the complete sales cycle for commercial-level business opportunities, from prospecting to winning the deal.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a central point of contact, working closely with Legal, Finance, Customer Success, and Quoting teams to navigate hurdles and finalize contracts.
  • Pipeline Management: Take direct ownership of your individual pipeline, consistently hitting metrics and delivering closed/won revenue.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the renewal and quoting processes to ensure a seamless experience for both the customer and the internal team.
