About The Position
Advantage Truck Group (ATG) has an opportunity for a Inside Parts Sales Associate to join the team on full-time basis. The Inside Parts Sales Associate will offer the region our comprehensive sales and service network supporting a wide range of commercial and municipal vehicle applications, fleets and owner operators; offering our services to the largest on-highway heavy duty parts network in New England. Requirements
- Must Have Valid State Driver License
- Clean Driving Record
- Understanding of the Automotive or Heavy Duty-Truck industry
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk and climb
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Able to to maintain sitting positions throughout the work day
- Frequent moving of equipment and lifting of parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Parts Experience needed - Heavy Duty Experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming parts requests for both retail customers as well as technicians
- Promptly and professionally greet customers in person and over the phone
- Ensure accurate and appropriate inventory and billing controls through transactions
- Provide customers with accurate parts lookup and recommendations based on their described needs
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times
