The Plant Manager will ensure the integrity and reliability of the cabling system, adhering to all required regulations and regulatory requirements that include safety and training.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working in and 3+ years managing an inside/outside plant telecommunications infrastructure in a cleared government environment
- Knowledge of IP and optical network operations, DoD network and system security requirements, and ITSM best practices.
- OSHA required Confined Space Training.
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.
- All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and develop plans for installations and technical solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of planned installations.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of best practices and technical expertise to ensure continual improvement and reliability of services.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of the infrastructure, troubleshooting particularly difficult issues that cannot be resolved by team.
- Provide leadership and motivation to the technical team.
